Librarianship Study Room
Librarianship Study Room is a structural subdivision within the Department of Providing Scientific and Methodical Support to the System of Education Libraries.
The main aim of the Librarianship Study Room
It is to provide individual library information service and quick informational support to those librarians working at non-school establishments, secondary schools, vocational schools, higher education teachers and engineers’ training institutions, teachers’ training institutions of advanced studies, scientific establishments of NAPS of Ukraine, Lviv Regional Scientific and Pedagogical Library, Mykolayiv Scientific and Pedagogical Library, the staff of V.O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine, postgraduate students and students of M.P. Drahomanov National Teachers’ Training University and Kyiv National Institute of Culture and Arts.
Librarianship Study Room:
- performs research activity in the sphere of subject library science, bibliography science, bibliology, document study, and information activity;
- provides reference bibliographic and informational support to the sector,
; - builds up its own collection;
- provides library and information service to users;

arranges bibliographic exhibitions, permanent exhibitions under the title “New Acquisitions”, authors’ exhibitions, subject exhibitions connected with activities performed by the the Department of Providing Scientific and Methodical Support to the System of Education Libraries (seminars, workshops, round tables, etc.).
Librarianship Study Room is an organizational-methodic centre of self-education; it ensures the fulfilment of all areas of the library activity.
