- Bibliography
30 July 2017 marked the 155th anniversary of the birth of Wilhelm August Lay (1862 – 1926), a German pedagogue, theoretician of experimental pedagogy, and the University of Freiburg graduate. He paid great attention to the organisation of actions. According to the pedagogue’s ideas, every cognitive act is a triad, which forms an action: perception, mental processing, and external expression. In his ‘schools of action’, great attention was paid to the following lessons: modeling, dramatisation, painting, and care of plants and animals.
