February 21 marks the 171th anniversary of the birth of Tymofiy Hryhorovych Lubenets, a Ukrainian teacher and public education figure, specialist in the theory and methods of primary education, preschool education and adult education, teacher of the First Kyiv gymnasium, director of public schools of Kyiv governorate, head of the experimental labor school in Pushcha – Vodytsya.
