Abstract

The article highlights the results of a pilot study of the valuemotivational orientation of Ukrainians in the military conditions of the digital society. The regularities regarding the value positions of Ukrainians and their dynamics depending on age and belonging to certain professional communities have been revealed. It was found that the integrative settings, which include the components: social culture, spirituality, maturity, safety and ecology, are the most important components for all age groups of respondents. After 40 years, the indicators of such settings increase noticeably. Professional groups where such settings have the highest rates are a sample of teachers and psychologists.
Individual settings, including the components of self-determination, stimulation and motivation, achievement, enjoyment, have approximately the same indicators for all age groups. Regarding professional groups, the highest rates of individual settings are found in the groups of teachers and students. Societal valuemotivational settings, which have the lowest rates overall, have some age
dynamics of increasing rates after age, especially 40 years. School teachers are the professional group where such a setting is found the most. The midlife crisis affects respondents' value settings.
This is noticeable by the greater number of indicators of value settings. The most important for all professional and age groups are the following valuemotivational orientations: self-determination (individual settings), sociability (societal settings) and maturity (integrative settings). That is, the vast majority of respondents want to change their own place and role in society and consciously implement it. Regarding the gender difference in value settings, for men there is more activity, motivation, influence; more often, women are oriented towards sociality, safety and ecology, maturity, spirituality, the ability to enjoy life. The research uses the "Life Principles and Values" methodology, which is a modified, shortened and adapted to modern realities version of Schwartz's "Value
Questionnaire". The survey, analysis and visualization of the results is carried out with the help of digital technologies.
