Research and Educational Studies is an open-access journal, which means that all its content is freely available to readers and their institutions. No open-access publication fee is charged.

Access rights
All articles published in open access remain permanently available for reading, downloading, copying, and distribution.

User rights
The reuse of journal materials by third parties is governed by the Creative Commons Attribution License. Under the terms of this license, users are permitted to copy, distribute, and adapt article materials, create derivative works, make extracts or summaries, and use them for commercial purposes.

Such use is allowed provided that authorship is properly acknowledged and a reference to the original publication is given (including the relevant DOI), a link to the CC BY license is provided, and any modifications to the material are clearly indicated. At the same time, the use of the material must not create the impression that the licensor supports or endorses the way in which the work is used.

Authors’ rights
Authors retain the copyright to their published materials and the right to use them in further scholarly work, while the journal Research and Educational Studies obtains the right of first publication and the right to further distribute the materials.

The full texts of research articles are available in the “Archive” section on the journal’s website. This practice corresponds to the principles of open access defined in the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI).
