Complaints policy
The editorial board of the journal intends to respond promptly and constructively to all complaints and resolve them. The editorial board and staff of the journal "Library Science. Documentation Science. Informology" will examine each complaint on a case-by-case basis according to its nature and complexity, and any decision taken will take into account the recommendations provided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
Suggestions or complaints should be sent to the journal's email address info@bdi.com.ua. All reports will be reviewed within thirty working days. However, depending on the complexity of the complaint, additional time may be required to complete the investigation.
Complaints should be concise, specific, and contain sufficient information to demonstrate any possible violation of publication ethics. If possible, additional documents supporting the specific claim should also be provided.
Personal complaints against authors, editors, reviewers or the editorial board of the journal will be responded to with an explanation of why the complaint was deemed to be outside the scope of the journal's responsibility. In addition, the journal refrains from conducting an investigation when complaints are submitted in an offensive, threatening or defamatory manner.
