Anti-Plagiarism Policy

The editorial board of Research and Educational Studies emphasizes that authors bear full responsibility for adherence to the principles of academic integrity, including the correct use of sources and the prevention of improper borrowing. Only original scholarly works that have not previously been published in other journals are accepted for publication.

Authors must guarantee:

• the originality of the submitted manuscript and the absence of prior publication in any language;
• the absence of plagiarism or inappropriate textual borrowing;
• correct citation and referencing of the works of other researchers.

To verify manuscripts, the journal uses specialized software for detecting textual overlap. The analysis is conducted using both internal databases and open sources on the Internet. The resulting reports are reviewed by the editorial board.

Manuscripts are assessed according to the level of textual originality:

over 85% — the article is accepted for further editorial consideration;
75–85% — the manuscript is returned to the authors for revision with recommendations to reduce textual overlap;
below 75% — the manuscript is not accepted for review.

In addition, the proportion of text borrowed from a single source must not exceed 3%.

Any form of plagiarism is considered a violation of the ethical standards of scholarly communication and contradicts the principles of publication ethics. If indications of plagiarism are identified after publication, the editorial board conducts an additional review and contacts the author to clarify the circumstances and make an appropriate decision.
