Abstract
The paper presents a new personal web page of the information and bibliographic Outstanding Teachers of Ukraine and the World resource available on the web portal of V. O. Sukhomlynskyi SSPL of Ukraine. The page is dedicated to the prominent representative of European reform pedagogy of the late 19th and early 20th centuries Georg Kerschensteiner. The headings of the web page are analysed. The biographical, bibliographical, visual and reference information of the headings is characterised. It is shown that the bibliography of Georg Kerschensteiner’s works includes authentic texts, Ukrainian and Russian translations of his texts issued as separate publications as well as parts of collected volumes and periodicals. The paper presents the bibliography regarding the studies of the scholar’s pedagogical concepts: monographs, theses, textbooks, papers by Ukrainian and foreign scientists. These documents reveal the teacher’s creative heritage. The study of Georg Kerschensteiner’s pedagogical ideas from the beginning of the 20th century and up to date is traced. The paper considers visual sources as additional information complementing the creative portrait of the teacher. One of the headings informs about the perpetuation of the memory of the outstanding pedagogue in his homeland. The developed web page is positioned as an effective form for popularising Georg Kerschensteiner’s oeuvre containing scientific and practical potential for the development of education. The variety of documents presented in the headings can be used as a basis for a source base in historical-pedagogical and biographical studies.
