Abstract

Current issues and trends in the development of home education in Ukraine in the context of digitalization of education are highlighted.
It has been established that in modern Ukrainian realities there is a rather rapid process of approval of the form of home education at the legislative level and public perception. An analysis of the literature on this problem was made, research was singled out (M. Denysenko, Yu. Petrushko, Zh. Vykhrystenko, S. Seminoh, L. Ruban, I. Mytsyshyn, S. Shumaieva, A. Leshchenko, Yu. Dmytriv,
G. Sakarska), the significant interest of the mass media in this topic is indicated.
The article focuses on issues of scientific and methodological support for the digitization of education, and emphasizes the role of scientists of the National Academy of Sciences in the study of this topic. The advantages and disadvantages of home education are clarified. A survey of parents and teachers about the attitude to homeschooling was conducted. The possibilities of home education are demonstrated, taking into account the approaches of digitalization of education. The influence of the digital transformation of education on the personalization of education and the expansion of educational opportunities is singled out. Prospective ways of development of home education in Ukraine in the conditions of digitalization of education are outlined.
