International identification systems as an indicator of the level of a scientist

Abstract

The concepts of the image of the scientist are characterized, the main international systems of scientists identification are analyzed, their criterial features and functional capabilities are determined. It is determined that registration and creation of profiles in such communication systems is a desirable condition for identifying a scientist, an effective factor in enhancing his professional image. In addition, it facilitates the effective search for parallel developers of scientific issues, possible co-authors and opponents, prospective consumers of their products, and expanding sources of funding for research activities, as well as popularizing their own research, establishing international contacts for the best entry of domestic scientists and their institutions into the international scientific space.
