Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Technical Requirements for Manuscript Formatting:
- Structural elements:
1. UDC index,with a paragraph indent, in the upper left corner of the first page. It should correspond to the journal's profile.
Then on a new line (for each of the authors):
2. Name and surname of the author (aligned to the right, in the language of the article).
3. Academic degree and academic title (if any).
4. Position, name of the organisation where the author works/studies.
5. City and country of residence of the author.
6. ORCID of the author.
7. ResearcherID of the author (if any).
8. Scopus-Author ID of the author (if available).
9. E-mail.
10. Title of the article in capital letters (without paragraph indentation, bold, centre alignment).
11. Abstract of 1800 to 2500 characters with spaces (text indentation from the left edge - 1.25 cm, no paragraph indentation, width alignment, single line spacing, italics).
12. Key words - 5-7 words (the phrase ‘Key words’ in bold, no paragraph indentation, width alignment, single line spacing, italics).
13. Through the line - the main text of the article in accordance with the structural elements given below (paragraph indentation 1.25 cm, width alignment, line spacing one and a half).

Statement of the problem in general terms.
Analysis of the main research and publications.
The purpose and objectives of the article.
Presentation of the main research material.
Conclusions.
Prospects for further research.
14. The text of the article should contain references to all sources in the list of references. According to the requirements of APA (7th ed.), a reference in the text of an article contains two main elements - the author and the date of publication. There are two types of in-text citations: parenthetical citation: (author's name, year) and narrative citation: author's name (year). For example:

15. Tables, diagrams, figures, diagrams should be the author's or contain references to the source and be numbered. They are placed without a paragraph in the centre of the page immediately after the reference to them in the text of the article or on the next page. The word ‘Table’ and its number should be written in italics at the top (alignment to the right), and the name of the table should be written in the line below (bold, centre alignment). Illustrations (figures, flowcharts, graphs) should be made in one of the graphic editors. The title of the illustrations should be indicated below the illustration(s) (italics, centre alignment).
16. Formulas and letter designations of quantities are typed in the MathType-Equation editor and presented in the text or in a separate line without paragraph indentation (centre alignment), numbered with Arabic numerals in parentheses on the right side of the page.
17. The main text of the article should be followed by a list of references (font - Times New Roman, kegel-12, line spacing - 1 interval). It should contain only those sources that are referenced in the text. ‘REFERENCES’ should be written in capital letters (centre alignment). The list of references is formed in accordance with the international style APA 7 (see Appendix 1) and should contain no more than 30 titles.
Self-citation of authors by the list of sources they have used may not exceed 15% of the total number of publications. The list of references must include publications in journals indexed in Scopus/WoS (at least 20%).
18. The following characters are used in the text of the article: quotation marks (« » - for Ukrainian or “ ”- for English); apostrophe (’), dash (–, set by pressing “Ctrl” and “-” on the numeric keypad, written with a space); hyphen (-), colon (:), semicolon (;) are placed without a space.
19. After presenting the material of the article (submitted to the editorial office in Ukrainian), provide the information specified in paragraphs 2-12 above in English. If the article is submitted for consideration by the editorial board in English, the information in paragraphs 2-12 should be provided in Ukrainian.
20. At the end of the last page of the article, indicate the date of its submission to the journal.

The article should be accompanied by a reference to the author(s) on a separate sheet: surname, name and patronymic, place of work (for students - place of study), position, academic degree, academic rank, e-mail address, contact telephone numbers.
Authors who do not have a scientific degree should submit a review by a specialist ( Candidate or Doctor of Science) along with the article.
The editorial board reserves the right to check the received articles for plagiarism, to send the submitted articles for additional review, and to reject those that do not meet the requirements or scientific directions of the journal.
