It is a search system that forms statistics characterising the state and dynamics of indices regarding demand, activity and influence of separate scientists and research organisations.<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Main scientometric indices<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>Citation index <\/em><\/strong>is an index of importance of scientist\u2019s papers; it is a number of reference on scientist\u2019s publications presented in abstract scientific periodicals.The\u00a0Science Citation Index\u00a0(SCI)\u00a0is one of the most spread scientometricindex. If there are highly cited scientists it positively influences the prestige of the establishment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>The\u00a0Hirsch index (h-index)<\/em><\/strong> is an index suggested in 2005 by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Jorge_E._Hirsch\">Jorge Hirsch<\/a>,\u00a0anAmerican physicist at\u00a0the\u00a0University of California, San Diego (USA). The index is based on the number of the scientist\u2019s papers and the number of citations of these papers, and is calculated according to a special formula.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>The<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>\u00a0impact factor\u00a0(IF)<\/em><\/strong> is a formal quantitative index of informational importance of scientific journal. It is a number of citations received in that year by articles published in that journal during the two or three preceding years.
