On 16 April 2016 the pedagogical community celebrated the 175th anniversary of the birth of Khrystyna Danylivna Alchevska. The specialists of V. Sukhomlynskyi State Scientific and Educational Library of Ukraine arranged a book exhibition titled ‘Khrystyna Alchevska: a prominent figure in the field of popular education’ prepared within the framework of ‘Personal book exhibitions’.
